Her name is Kali Messer and she's a Genetic Counseling Graduate Student at the University of Colorado Denver. Her Capstone Research Project aims to demonstrate what information parents of a daughter with Trisomy X syndrome were given at the time of diagnosis, if and when they met with a genetic specialist at any time, and based on their experience, what information they believe is important to be shared with parents about this condition. As you may agree, she has found that information and resources regarding Trisomy X syndrome is quite limited. Therefore, she hopes to gather your opinions and use them to provide guidance to genetic counselors for future diagnoses and patient care. |
