May 2009, Mother of Cathy: We just wrapped up my daughter's middle school transition IEP. I think she will have excellent support next year. Thanks also to everyone for sharing the ongoing studies, articles, Mina's thesis, etc. as I had a 200 + page packet of information to hand off to her new teacher. | Cathy's mom wrote an update on her daughters story in july 2015. Cathy is 17 years old and on a mission to increase Trisomy X Awareness as part of her Girl Scout Gold award. She is trying to tell 1 million people about Trisomy X. She is about 1/4 of the way there! She would appreciate any and all help by visiting and/or sharing the link to her website She even created an awareness video that you can find there. It's a great glimpse into her strengths and struggles. |
